Fives Nordon carried out maintenance and inspection work at the Michelin plant in Bassens. This order involved 139 different workstations and required 50 people (including 15 supervisors) and 50 subcontractors.
Their professionalism, availability and adaptability enabled to achieve work within five days. To meet this very tight deadline, Fives Nordon, which was responsible for preparing the shutdown, drew up an hourly schedule for each task.
The project was carried out successfully and in fully safe conditions since no accident nor first aid were deplored, thanks to the vigilance of the whole team, and the permanent support of a site safety coordinator. Recommissioning of the plant was also carried out successfully, with no leaks recorded.
