Fives Nordon produces the auxiliary nuclear NSSS piping for the Flamanville EPR 3. This order from AREVA NP is an important milestone in our participation in the EDF programme for the construction of new-generation nuclear reactors.
Fives Nordon’s services include studies, prefabrication and on-site assembly.
The entire project represents:
- 900 tons of piping classified level 1, 2 and 3 RRC-M,
- 300 tons of supports,
- 100 tons of bushing,
- work lasting until 2011.
Fives Nordon is also producing the primary circuit branches for the OL3 EPR (Olkiluoto) in Finland.
At the same time, ALSTOM awarded to Fives Nordon the order for steam and feed water piping for the Flamanville EPR, including studies, supply, prefabrication and on-site assembly.
