In 2007 Benetton decided to add a third Fives Cinetic sorter (called PL3) to the previous two ones (named PL1 and PL2) in the distribution center in Castrette in order to meet the increasing flow of goods to be handled.
The new sorting system is a SBIR SD-W composed of 607 destinations on two levels and 4 high capacity induction lines (with 2 operators each).
