Twinsort
The Twinsort is a highly effective unit for diverting items to two destinations or merging two lines into one. The Twinsort is well positioned to meet the increasing demands of the airport, courier and distribution markets. The Twinsort features lightweight components to reduce the inertia required in moving the paddles into the up/down position. This design forethought enables the unit to operate at peak performance, sorting/merging items at up to 60 items per minute (3,600 pph).
Typically, the Twinsort is shipped to the jobsite as a complete assembly. However, for space-constrained applications, the Twinsort features a bolt-together design to facilitate field assembly. The outer frame, inner frame, paddles, and cross members are separate components that can easily be field assembled.
The Twinsort is designed to accommodate an infinite number of infeed and take-away conveyor elevations. The unit features an inner frame that can be varied in height and angular orientation. The range of motion is from horizontal through top conveyor to horizontal through bottom conveyor.
