In May 2008, BMW Germany selected Fives Cinetic as filling machine supplier for a new Rolls Royce model: the Phantom. The Goodwood plant, which produced the RR4 has been revamped in order to allow the construction of a second production line dedicated to the Phantom model.
The project includes two main phases: a first delivery of two air suspension and helium filling machines representing new process development for Cinetic Filling. A second delivery should take place mid-October and will include a multi-fluid combined machine: brakes, engine cooling, air conditioned and power steering.
Cinetic Filling machines were already present on the existing production line, but this project managed by BMW represents a come back of Cinetic Filling as BMW supplier panel.
