Cinetic Landis Ltd currently have a 6,5 M capacity LT3 machine undergoing final assembly and testing destined for Jinan Diesel Engine Works in Shangdong, China.
Jinan Diesel are a major supplier of large crankshafts to the Chinese heavy machinery industry and manufacture large crankshafts for earth moving equipment, power generating equipment, locomotive and marine engines.
The machine is tooled to grind a number of crankshafts ranging from 2,5 M to 6,5 M in length.
This machine follows the same basic design of the five LT3 machines currently operating at Alfing Kessler GmbH in Aalen, Germany. These machines are 4,5 M, 6.5 M and 8.0 M capacity and grind a huge range of crankshafts. Since commencing in production, over 2,000 crankshafts have been successfully processed over these machines, including crank journals, crank pins and plain and tapered ends.
A sixth machine for Alfing is currently in our manufacturing schedule for delivery in 2010.
The machine destined for Jinan Diesel Engine Works is an important step in entering what could be a very important market for the LT3 range.
Cinetic Landis Ltd is also exploring other important markets for the LT3 range in South Korea and Japan.
