PSA renews its confidence in Fives Cinetic by entrusting it with the provision of a significant proportion of its new final assembly workshop in Russia. Cinetic Assembly will install the assembly workshop on the joint production site of PSA Peugeot Citroën and Mitsubishi Motors Company (MMC) groups, located in Kaluga, 200 km south of Moscow.

With an installed capacity of 160,000 vehicles per year, this assembly workshop will be equipped with CFCFrixLine, an innovative overhead friction conveyor, recently developed and patented by Cinetic Assembly. |

Cinetic Assembly will supply all handling systems:
The main body conveyor and the associated handling systems (doors, cockpits, engine system assembly and preparation of mechanical components).
Integration stations for mechanical components and body parts.
Associated tooling.
End of line and sealing lines.
The provision will also include technical assistance during the ramping up of production speed.
Starting in 2012, the Kaluga site will first produce mid-range sedans for Peugeot (308 and 408) and Citroën (C4 Elysée) on a dedicated line with a capacity of 16 vehicles per hour. By mid-2013, a second line will be dedicated to mid-range SUVs for Mitsubishi (Outlander), Peugeot (4007) and Citroën (C-Crosser), with a throughput of 8 vehicles per hour.
