Windows-based software has been developed to optimize machine parameters and performance outside the manufacturing environment. Factors such as camshaft geometry, material and abrasive application in combination with predicted thermal input from the grind process enable accurate development of grind cycles on a desktop computer, eliminating unproductive machine experimentation.
