The handheld tools can be operated in either Direct drive or utilize a patented process known as Pulse™ Technology that eliminates the need for torque reaction devices. This process operates by utilizing a timed pulse signal that occurs just prior to reaching the targeted torque. This timed signal is based on programmed time intervals that are determined by the operator. This reduces the reaction force to the operator resulting in less fatigue.

All of the handheld electric nut runners feature the Intelligent Controller which utilizes a microprocessor based computing system to control, monitor, and obtain data from a strain gage torque transducer. The processor also stores statistical data that can be displayed on the LCD screen or generated in hard copy format.
