For several years our customers have changed towards galvanizing lines requiring more diversity, performance and flexibility:
New steel grades are developing, particularly multiphase type high-strength steels.
In addition to these market changes the requirements for productivity, quality (adhesion and aspect), flexibility, ease of furnace operation, maintenance, safety and environment are more and more stringent.
Conventional order book for cold rolled strip is partly replaced by hot-rolled grades for thick strip and Full Hard for thin strip.
The demand for Zinc-Aluminium alloy coating is growing.
The development of galvanized strip in strong growth emerging countries is accompanied by the installation of processing lines with suitable capacity, generally multi-purpose in terms of sizes and produced steel grades, with a quick return on investment.
