New 20 Hi cold rolling mill for thin strips at Shangai Stal precision stainless steel plant.
Fives DMS is going to supply a 20 Hi reversing cold rolling Mill ZR 22 52’’ to Shangai Stal precision stainless steel plant in Shanghai, P.R. China.
The mill is designed for an annual production of 32 000 tpy of austenitic and ferritic steel grades of 0.050 to 1 mm thickness and 650 to 1 250 mm width at a maximum speed of 800 mpm.
The mill is fed through the tension reels equipped with solid bloc mandrels.
The first cold rolled coil is due to be produced at the end of October 2008.
