THYSSENKRUPP STAINLESS USA - 1 ZR 21 BB 64, 1 ZR 21 BB 74,1 ZR 22 B 54 and 1 skin pass
Fives DMS has been selected by ThyssenKrupp for the supply of four mills for its US greenfield plant in Vernon, Alabama. The hot strip mill with a capacity of 5.2 m tonnes will produce carbon steel as well as 400 000 tonnes of stainless steel. Fives DMS will design and manufacture three cold rolling Sendzimir mills, two ZR21, one ZR 22 and one skin pass mill. The electrical equipment will be supplied by Converteam.
All four mills will be pre-assembled and tested in the Fives Industries workshop in France before shipping.
