The monobloc 20 Hi mill, based on the Sendzimir design, has a small work roll diameter, consequently, it can easily handle an increase in specific pressure as a result of work hardening and is able to reach very high total reduction percentages without requiring intermediate annealing. Fives DMS continously improved the Sendzimir design.
