On 1 December 2007, Nordon Cryogenie and Cryomec combined their fields of expertise under a single brand : Fives Cryogenie.
At the same time, Nordon Cryogenie and Cryomec were re-named Fives Cryo and Fives Cryomec AG, respectively.

Nordon Cryogénie
1959: Heat exchanger production started at the Golbey plant, using Trane technology.
1986: TRANE sells its two plants:
- its American plant, renamed ALTEC, was taken over by the Chart group;
- the French plant, acquired by Nordon, a subsidiary of the Fives-Lille group, became Nordon Cryogenie.
1998: Nordon Cryogenie acquires the Swiss company Cryomec and its subsidiary, Cryopôle, specialized in cryogenic pumps.
Cryomec
1977: Founding of Cryomec AG.
1987: Creation of the Cryomec France subsidiary.
1998: Cryomec AG becomes a Nordon Cryogenie subsidiary and a member of the Fives-Lille group.
2000: The French subsidiary closes down.
