Akers, the manufacturer of steel mills rolls commissioned a hardening and annealing machine delivered by Fives Celes.
The project consisted in the revamping of a horizontal lathe and of the integration of induction heating equipment. Fives Cinetic performed the mechanical revamping of the lathe and Fives Celes, leader of the project supply a CELES IS 800 Kw inventer.
The flexibility of the power inverter enables the hardening and tempering of a wide range of cylinders journals with few inductors.
