Fives Celes delivers to MR Equipment - Manurhin two induction annealing systems for medium size ammunition cases. The cases are ranging from 20x102 to 35x238 and are either in steel or brass. Each annealing machine has a theoretical capacity of 1000 cartridge per hour.
Fives Celes solution is designed to answer the specific needs of such system. It includes CELES MP 50 high frequency inverters, their matching boxes, the chillers, and the control equipment. A set of 15 tunnel inductors covers the range of cases to be processed either in partial annealing or in collar annealing.
The tuning of the process required a significant testing period. Gerard Bertrand, Manurhin project manager confirms: "The tests on Fives Celes plateform and the support of Fives Celes engineers for the adjustments of the inductors shapes of the electrical parameters enabled us to meet the very stringent specifications of the customers."
