Quenching Group - Celes GD 

CELES GD are filtering, circulating and cooling units designed for all metallurgical surface hardening operations.
These stand alone units are of compact design in order to be located next to the heating equipment.
 
They consists of:
A flat gravity filter
An integrated motor driven pump
An immersed preheated
A water/water exchanger
A temperature control system
An electrical control cubicle
 
CELES GD ensure a constant quenchant flow and allow the quenching shower to work at homogenous temperature.
The temperature control allows reducing the raw cooling water consumption when the equipment operates with reduced or cyclic loads. The main components of the quenchant are made of stainless steel to eliminate risks of corrosion. The design offers the best compromise between the volume of the quenchant and the backflow height on the gravity filter (500mm) in order to be compatible with hardening presentation machines
The standard filtering mesh is 35µm.

Fives Celes product range starts from 25kW to 400kW for cooling powers and from 2m3/h to 30m3/h for the quenchant flows. Ant other specification could be studied for dedicated applications
