Baosteel Iron & Steel Co Ltd. placed two orders for its Stainless steel branch for the supply of vertical Digital furnaces for a new 460,000 tons per year capacity hot dip galvanizing line dedicated to automotive products, in consortium with Fives DMS, and for a new 900,000 tons per year capacity continuous sheet annealing line.
Baosteel Iron & Steel Co Ltd. placed another order for its CRM#1 directly with Fives Stein for the supply of a vertical Digital furnace including the patented Flash Cooling® ultra rapid cooling system under high H2 content for a new 900,000 tons per year capacity continuous sheet annealing line.
For all these new projects, Fives Stein will supply its latest vertical Digital furnace technology for processing the highest quality automotive exposed products as well as newly developed ultra high strength steels.
These new large capacity processing lines which are part of the expansion plans of Baosteel group are expected to come into full production in 2010.
