The Innovation Department, driving crossover innovations. Mastering cutting-edge technologies and developing specific know-how have for many years been considered as a strategic priority for the Fives Group development, providing an excellent means of standing out from the competition. In this context, the setting up of an Innovation group under the supervision of the Innovation Department has stimulated the development of technical synergies between the Group's subsidiaries as well as collaborations with public and private research bodies (start-up firms, universities, major engineering schools, etc.).
Recognised for its ability to design and supply industrial solutions customised to the specific needs of each of its customers, the Fives Group and its teams are also the source of new developments that, in some cases, represent real breakthroughs. The Group has also adopted an active policy of filing patents to protect its know-how and technical innovations.
